Cheddar Mustard Scone
A nice savory scone, I can't stop eating them fresh out of the oven.. when I bring them to work only half will make it. They also make for an awesome scone sandwich base, have tried mixing in pickle chunks to and have been delighted with the results

- ΒΌcupsflour
- β tablespoonbaking powder
- β tablespoonsugar
- 0.06teaspoonmustard powder
- 0.06teaspoonsalt
- 0.09cupshredded cheddar
- ΒΎtablespoonscold butter
- β cupbuttermilk
- 0.38tablespoonsgrainy mustard

Instructions
Whisk dry ingredients together.
Stir in 3/4 cup shredded cheddar.
Cut in butter until it is in pea-size pieces
Whisk buttermilk together with the mustard and then combine with dry ingredients.
Divide into 8 mounds on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake at 425 degrees F until golden, 20 to 25 minutes.
